No — you don’t have to season it. The Evoclad Hybrid Pan is designed to perform beautifully straight out of the box, thanks to its advanced hybrid surface that blends stainless steel durability with a built-in non-stick layer.
That said, if you want to boost the slickness right from day one, you can do a quick one-time seasoning.
Here’s how:
- Wash and dry the pan.
- Warm it over medium-low heat.
- Add around 1 teaspoon of oil (vegetable, avocado, or olive) and swirl it evenly.
- Let it heat for 2–3 minutes until oil begins to smoke. Turn off and let cool.
- Wipe away any excess oil with a paper towel.
This light coating bonds a thin layer of oil to the surface, helping food release even more easily. Over time, normal cooking with oil will naturally maintain this effect — so there’s no ongoing maintenance required.
